From the earliest days of my childhood, I was captivated by the workings of machines and engines. While other kids played with their toy cars and airplanes, I couldn't resist the urge to take them apart to discover the hidden magic within them--to find out what made them tick. This curiosity led to countless dismantled toys and a few frustrated parents, but it was all in the name of my desire to understand the mechanics of the world around me. Through school, I found myself immersed in the fascinating world of user experience design, realizing that it offered the perfect blend of my passion for understanding how things worked and my desire to make everyday life more efficient and enjoyable for people. My journey through education was marked by countless hours of research, design projects, and the cultivation of a keen understanding of the human-centered approach to design. But my story into public transit really started before I even graduated from school. An opportunity arose to become involved in a pilot project managing the operations of public transit in my local town, where I went to school. It was a chance to combine my deep-rooted fascination with transportation and my newfound expertise in user experience design. Without hesitation, I embraced the challenge, knowing that this was the gateway to a career that would truly ignite my passion. The pilot project was a resounding success, and it opened the doors wide for me to step into the world of the public transit industry, where my unique blend of curiosity, design skills, and love for transportation would find their perfect intersection. Today, I am making a tangible impact on the way people move and experience their daily journeys, turning my childhood fascination into a meaningful and fulfilling career.
