Transit holds a special place in my heart. It transcends more than just transportation; its the bridge that connects communities, and the catalyst for opportunity.

Throughout my career as a marketing leader, I've been fascinated by stories about people making a difference. In particular, I held a deep admiration for local public servants for their commitment to pursuing a better tomorrow for their communities. My passion for cities began years ago when I did some work in Detroit. It was there that I saw how technology could be used to create equal opportunities for everyone. It was there that I envisioned a future where I could proudly tell my grandchildren about my role in the generation that made cities more equitable through technology. Last year when I joined Spare and began working within the transit industry, it seemed like the perfect alignment of my aspirations and values. Because to me, transit stories are worth telling. Consider the paratransit rider who, once limited by constraints, now experiences newfound freedom through same-day services. Or the parent, whose job prospects were once limited due to inadequate transit, now expanding their employment opportunities thanks to on-demand transit. In the tapestry of urban narratives, transit holds a special place in my heart. It transcends mere transportation; its the bridge that connects communities, and the catalyst for opportunity. Transit is where people truly matter, every journey has a profound purpose, and, ultimately, I have found my people.
