I joined transit like it was not planned. After graduation, I got a job for city planning, and I started to do transportation, but then I realized that I love it so much, I get the opportunity to help the most vulnerable road users. So now I plan safety components of every single transportation project to help riders. For me, the thing I appreciate most is being able to help plan transit network options for people that don't have the capability to pay a fare or to own a car. They can use the services that I provide within Broward County Transit at no cost to them. So it truly helps them to connect to jobs, medical appointments, and other services as well. And being regional, like a county itself is great because you get the opportunity to work in every component of the county. So it's not centralized, It's, all over.
